Follow the steps below to create this fun and easy craft.

Materials Needed:

  • 2 toilet paper rolls

  • Non-toxic paint or markers

  • Craft glue

  • Colored paper (optional for decoration)

  • String or yarn (about 24 inches)

  • Scissors

Step-by-Step Instructions:

  1. Decorate the Rolls: Start by painting or coloring the toilet paper rolls using markers or paint. Let your children pick their favorite colors and designs. Allow the paint to dry completely.

  2. Glue the Rolls Together: Once the paint is dry, apply a line of glue down the side of one roll and press the second roll against it. Hold them together until the glue sets slightly.

  3. Add Decorative Paper: If desired, cut strips or shapes from colored paper and glue them around the rolls for extra flair.

  4. Attach the String: Cut a piece of string about 24 inches long. Glue the ends of the string to the outer sides of the binoculars, one on each side, to create a neck strap. Ensure the string is securely attached and let the glue dry.

  5. Final Touches: Add any additional decorations or details as desired. You can also reinforce the string attachment with more glue or tape to make sure it holds well during play.
